Add these annoying words to Parker’s list
Thanks to Kathleen Parker for her column on “Annoying Words” on the Jan. 1. If I may add one more, and I find it the most annoying of all: you know. Business people and even TV personalities are using it, including at least one sportscaster. As we were taught way back in high school, if I know, and you know I know, why are you insulting my intelligence by telling me something that you know I already know? I find it interesting that I have yet to see “you know” on the printed page.
