Jurors will hear some of the last words Laura Engelhardt uttered when D'Andre Howard, 24, goes to trial on charges he stabbed her to death, along with her father, Alan Engelhardt, and her grandmother Marlene Gacek in April 2009 at the family's Hoffman Estates home, a Cook County judge ruled Thursday. No trial date has been set for Howard, who was the boyfriend of Laura's older sister, Amanda Engelhardt, at the time.
