Suspicious-looking man follows student home

Arlington Heights police have issued an alert about a suspicious-looking person who followed a Thomas Middle School student home near West Lynwood and North Kaspar avenues.

Police said the student went through several yards to try to evade the man.

Every time the student went back to a street, the man was still looking at the student. The man did not speak to the child, police said.

The incident occurred at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the man is between 20 and 30 years old.
