Beth Judea offers men place to talk personal issues

In an effort to appeal to as many of our constituents as possible, the Men’s Club has chosen to hold their second series of discussions at 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. All discussions are confidential. There will be two sessions to choose from:

Ÿ Session 1: What do I want to say to my children when they leave for college? What do they want to hear from me?

Ÿ Session 2: How do I deal with a handicapped family member while maintaining a balance with the rest of the family and myself?

Choose which one you wish to attend.

The program is lay-led, with one member of the group acting as a moderator to facilitate the discussion, ensuring that each group member has adequate opportunity to participate in the discussion and to keep the participants on topic. The success of the program depends heavily on the willingness of the participants to open up to each other, which in turn depends on the comfort of each participant that this is a “safe” forum in which to share personal issues. Therefore, the confidentiality of the group discussion is a critical factor in the success of any “Hearing Men’s Voices” program.

The chairmen of “Hearing Men’s Voices” are Steve Flack and Fred Rabinowitz. Please contact Steve and Fred at Bethjudeamensclub@gmail.com for further information or to reserve your space.
