Laskowski Ace Hardware in Libertyville was recently recognized for its commitment to philanthropy by the Ace Hardware Foundation. The store was named one of five national winners of Ace's Regional Store Contest, which recognizes the individual store in each of five regions of the country that raised the most funds through icon sales and donations during a campaign for the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The store raised $4,300 to directly benefit the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.
