Medical issue causes teen to crash into Naperville garage

A teen driver who experienced a medical issue Tuesday afternoon crashed his vehicle into a Naperville garage, among other things.

The crash took place at 3:44 p.m. on the 2700 block of Springdale Circle.

A 2006 Chevy suburban driven by the 18-year-old was traveling west on Springdale Circle when it left the road and hit a parked car, a fence, a boat trailer and a garage.

"The driver had some type of medical issue and lost control," said Naperville Sgt. John Westlove.

He was taken to Edward Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Naperville police are still investigating the crash.
