• Jaque M. Amphy, 22, of the 1700 block of Village Lane, Lockport, was arrested and charged with possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana at about 1:27 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Farnsworth Road near Aurora, according to a sheriff report. Officers called to the area found him sitting on a lawnchair in a driveway in the rain asking for a ride to Naperville. The officer asked Amphy if he wanted to sit in the squad car to get out of the rain and found 1.2 grams of marijuana in Amphy's pocket during a pat-down search before getting into the vehicle, according to a report.

• An iPad, computer and $6,000 were stolen from a residence in the 1N700 block of Francis Road near Maple Park between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Jan. 11, according to a sheriff report.

• A gray 1996 Chevy Corsica was stolen from the 600 block of Kendall Street near Aurora at about 9:15 p.m. Monday, according to a sheriff report. The car was stolen after the victim left it unattended while it was warming up.
