• Sergio Tinajero, 52, of the 0-99 block of Robin Road in Carpentersville, has been accused of molesting a girl younger than 13 for nearly two years, according to a police report. Officials said Tinajero knew the girl and that the activity took place at a Carpentersville home from August of 2010 through June 2012. Tinajero was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and with three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, and his bail was set Thursday morning at $150,000, according to court documents. He was being held at the Kane County jail. A judge ordered Tinajero to stay away from the victim if he posts bond. Tinajero's next court date is Jan. 24.
