About this Article

Bryan Lantz joined the Upward Bound program as a sophomore at Larkin High School. The college prep program for potential first-generation college students gave him his first contact with Elgin Community College. After graduating from Larkin in 2010, he got his associate degree from ECC and plans to attend Judson University in the fall.
