Downers Grove dance company to present 'Peter Pan'

Midwest Ballet Theatre's full-length, original story ballet "Peter Pan," featuring Captain Hook, Tiger Lily, Tinker Bell and the gang, will take the stage at 1:30 p.m. March 9 and 10 at the Tivoli Theatre, 5021 Highland Ave., in Downers Grove.

Based on the classic tale by J.M. Barrie, Midwest Ballet's production of "Peter Pan" premiered in its current form in 1992 with music by Bizet/Auber/Grieg, danced by the young talent of Midwest Ballet, with choreography by Artistic Director Mim Eichmann.

Over the past two decades, Midwest Ballet's "Peter Pan" has played to thousands of children and their families.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $13 for seniors, students and children. They are available through midwestballet.org, using the "Brown Paper Tickets" link on the website.

All seating is open; early arrival is recommended. Group orders are available for eight or more people and must be ordered by Sunday, March 3. The group rate is $1 off each ticket.
