Man attacked by coyotes in Washington state

I know some of you in the suburbs have had encounters with coyotes. Some dogs had been snatched from back patios and decks, while most of the confrontations have been with unattended pets.

That’s not the case in another place.

Faron Scarberry, of Kent, Wash., was recently attacked by three coyotes while walking his dog in his backyard, sending him to the emergency room, where he received multiple shots to prevent rabies.

“I love wildlife,” he said in a report for KOMO-TV. “I like looking out the deck, looking at them. But when they’re starting to threaten the animals and people in the neighborhood, it’s gone a little bit overboard.”
