Libertyville church hosts diversity event

The First Presbyterian Church of Libertyville will be hosting a program Jan. 21 to celebrate diversity and culture in honor of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., for kids in grades K through 5.

Attendees will participate in music, hands on art, storytelling, foreign languages and more with a message of awareness and acceptance. The program is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 219 W. Maple Ave. Cost is $15 for the program and $5 for optional extended care from 3 to 5 p.m.
