Four candidates for trustee in Vernon Hills

By

Incumbent Barbara Williams was not included in a listing of candidates running for village trustee in Vernon Hills that ran Thursday in some editions of the Daily Herald. Williams has served two stints on the board totaling 24 years, including four years as mayor. She and incumbents Thom Koch Jr., and James Schultz as well as newcomer Ted Sindermann, a sales executive, are seeking the 4-year seat in the April 9 election. Mayor Roger Byrne, who has served in that post since 1993, is running unopposed. A lottery was held Thursday because of simultaneous filings. The order on the ballot will be Schultz, Sindermann, Koch and Williams.
