Only 30 years old, Aaron Lawlor has spent a third of his life in political office. Recently named the chairman of the Lake County Board, Lawlor talked to the Daily Herald about why he ran for the post, his goals and his political aspirations. "I've never had a problem holding my own regardless of my age. We need leaders who bring diverse perspectives and work toward better outcomes for our county," he said.
