KOC hosts 10th annual Marcie Bosnak Basketball Tournament

The St. Patrick Knights of Columbus sponsored the 10th annual “Marcie Bosnak Basketball Tournament” Dec. 6-9.

Ten participating schools sent their fifth and sixth grade boys teams to St. Patrick School in Wadsworth to play in 22 games.

St. Patrick School (“Green Team”) of Wadsworth won the fifth grade championship game against St. Joseph School of Libertyville.

St. Gilbert School of Grayslake won the sixth grade championship game against St. Lucy (Racine, Wis.).

Proceeds of this tournament are used to help support the St. Patrick Scholarship Fund.

The tournament is named after the school’s principal of 34 years, Marcella A. Bosnak, who will be retiring at the end of the school year.

The Athletic Directors at St. Patrick School are Tim and Meg Ives.
