St. Charles East wins at Elgin
St. Charles East (7-6, 5-0) stayed alone in first place in the Upstate Eight Conference River Division by beating Elgin 51-32 on the road Thursday.
Paige Jordan scored 12 points and Carly Pottle had 11 as the Saints built leads of 17-6 after one quarter and 31-12 at halftime.
