The village of Hainesville will host a lottery to determine ballot placement for the April 9, 2013 Consolidated Election on Friday, Dec. 28. The lottery is set for 10 a.m. in the village hall council chambers, 100 N. Hainesville Road. The lottery is necessary because three candidates — Gerry Daley, John Derenoski and Georgeann Duberstein — filed simultaneously to run for three, 4-year trustee seats on the ballot. Filing for the election began Dec. 17 and ends Wednesday, Dec. 26.
