Davis scores 28, leads Magic to win

ORLANDO, Fla. — Glen Davis scored 28 points and J.J. Redick had 18 points and seven assists as the Orlando Magic beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 102-93 on Monday night.

Kevin Love had 23 points and 15 rebounds and Nikola Pekovic added 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who had won four straight coming into the game.

Minnesota led 87-85 with six minutes left when Orlando’s Arron Afflalo hit a 3-pointer to start a 9-0 run and put Orlando up 94-87.

Love and Andrei Kirilenko scored to get Minnesota to 94-91, but Davis drove inside for a layup, then had back-to-back dunks to push the Magic back in front 98-91.

Redick finished off the 8-0 run with a layup and the Magic coasted to their third straight victory.
