Colombia bus crash kills 26

A charter bus that was in an single-vehicle accident lies on its side in San Raimundo, near Bogota, Colombia, Monday. The accident resulted in the death of at least 26 passengers and another 15 wounded.

BOGOTA, Colombia — A bus carrying visitors from a coffee fair has overturned in central Colombia, killing at least 26 people.

Highway police commander Francisco Patino says the bus apparently lost its brakes early Monday on the road from Bogota to Giradot, though he says the cause is under investigation.

At least 15 people are reported injured and many of those were taken to nearby hospitals.
