Long Grove firefighters said they responded to a four-vehicle crash on Old Route 53 between Old McHenry Road and Schaeffer Road.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at 5:26 p.m. Thursday.

According to the Long Grove department, one person was taken to a hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, two people were released on their own power and one person left the scene.
Firefighters did not have further information and referred further inquiries to Lake County deputies, who were unavailable for comment.
