Sullivan, Christian Liberty win on the road


The Christian Liberty Academy girls basketball team improved to 7-1 on Wednesday night at Mooseheart.

The Chargers posted a 65-14 win as junior guard Meg Sullivan scored a season-high 21 points (3 3-pointers) with 8 steals and 5 assists.

Junior center Shelbi Hernandez collected a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. She also collected 3 blocks, 2 steals and 2 assists.

Sophomore guard Jess Moriarty connected for 14 points with a pair of 3-pointers while junior guard Vivian Barclay added 9 steals and 4 assists for the visitors who host Elgin Academy at 6 p.m. on Friday.
