From traditional to technical, residents across the suburbs have entered their holiday lights in our annual contest.

Now comes the fun part. You get to pick the winner. Voting opens today and runs through midnight Dec. 16.

Daily Herald holiday lights contest

Vote in the Daily Herald's holiday lights contest through midnight Dec. 16. The winner and a voter drawn at random will win snowblowers. For details or to vote, go to dailyherald.com/contest/holidaylights;. The contest is sponsored by Wintrust Financial Corporation.

Go to dailyherald.com/contest/holidaylights voting (for an unlimited number of times) on your favorite house.

The winner will receive a Toro Power Clear 621 QZE snowblower valued at $830. All those who vote will be entered in a random drawing for a Toro Power Clear 418 ZE snowblower valued at $400.
