About this Article
Pearl Harbor survivor Joe Triolo, 92, regrets that many people today, particularly schoolchildren, know little about the horrible event that launched the U.S. into World War II. Triolo says Pearl Harbor survivors are no longer asked to visit classrooms to talk about the the day that will live in infamy. "I'm not sure it's being taught in school," Triolo said. "If the kids come through school and never hear of it, it's gone. That's the key."Latest Galleries
