Controversial Nativity scene coming to Arlington Heights this weekend?

A controversial Nativity scene could find a place in Arlington Heights' holiday lights display at North School Park as early as this weekend, according to a leader of group fighting to make that happen. An application to allow the Nativity is before Arlington Heights Park District officials.

"I'd be shocked if it went the other way," said Jim Finnegan of the Illinois Nativity Scene Committee. "It's clear to me we have this worked out, it's not about going to court or not anymore."
