An 18-year-old Streamwood man charged with robbery in Hanover Park remains in the Cook County jail after a judge set his bond at $50,000.
Keetwon Montgomery, of the 0-100 block of Helen Court, is accused of ripping a necklace from a man’s neck and also taking his watch and a bag of coins. Hanover Park police said the robbery occurred at 1:05 a.m. Sunday on the 1600 block of Irving Park Road.
According to police, the victim got into a vehicle with Montgomery and two other men, and then Montgomery robbed the victim and kicked him out of the car. A second man was released without charges and police couldn’t locate the third man.
Montgomery is due back in court Dec. 28 in Rolling Meadows.
