Man dies after shooting at Fort Wayne barbershop

FORT WAYNE, Ind. ) -- Police say a man died after being shot inside a Fort Wayne barbershop.

The shooting happened Wednesday at E&M Barbershop in a small strip shopping plaza on the city's south side.

Police spokesman Jason Anthony tells The Journal Gazette that the wounded man was taken to a hospital in critical condition but later died. Information on the man's identity and circumstances of the shooting wasn't immediately released.

LaTasha Bragg tells WANE-TV that her grandchildren go to a preschool and kindergarten center that's across the street from the shooting scene. She says she worries about the violence because an innocent child could be hurt.
