"I'm honored to announce my candidacy for President of the Village of Wheeling. I and my family have lived in Wheeling for many years, and I have enjoyed playing an active part as it has grown and changed. I was a member of the plan commission from 1997 till 2001 and have been on the board of trustees since 2001. I'm grateful to the residents for giving me the chance to serve, and I'm proud of the work I have done to make Wheeling a better place to live and do business.

As President I will:

• Represent the village as an active leader

• Promote Wheeling as a world class community

• Sustain and maintain our excellent public safety record

• Make responsible decisions about revenue and resources

I believe the time has come for me to step up and lead this great community. I hope you will join me in moving Wheeling forward into a prosperous future."
