Let the fiscal cliff happen

I have already gone over the fiscal cliff — a 15 percent increase in medical insurance premiums the last two years, another big hit in my retirement portfolio, inflation on taxes, food, fuel, etc. Let the plan approved by both Democrats and Republicans go into effect; there has been nothing but smoke and mirrors from the president. Maybe if everyone had some skin in the game we could get rid of “Obamaphones” and all the other handouts this administration is giving.

My generation knows how to live within our means. Maybe it’s time the younger generation learn that lesson.
