Dist. 214 hosts Ask the College Night on Nov. 29

Ask the College Night will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 at Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights. All District 214 juniors and their parents are encouraged to attend the free informational program, hosted by Robert Yerkan, Rolling Meadows High School college counselor. Learn about local community colleges, a four-year in-state public school, a four-year out-of-state public school and a four-year private school. This year’s presenters are: Tamara McClain, recruiting manager at Harper College; Ziggy Blackwell, admissions coordinator at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville; Mike Ford, admissions counselor and regional recruiter at Michigan State University, East Lansing; and Maureen Kennedy Barney, Director of Midwest Admissions at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.
