Ankle leaves Vikings WR Harvin doubtful for Bears

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings will likely be without wide receiver Percy Harvin again this weekend because of his sprained left ankle.

Harvin was listed as doubtful for the Sunday’s game at Chicago. He tried to test his foot with some pre-practice work on Friday, but coach Leslie Frazier said he couldn’t put much weight on it.

Harvin sprained his left ankle at Seattle on Nov. 4 and didn’t play against Detroit on Nov. 11. The bye gave Harvin last week to heal, but he still hasn’t regained enough strength and mobility in the joint to rejoin the team. Harvin entered this week second in the NFL in total yards behind Green Bay’s Randall Cobb.

Left guard Charlie Johnson and nose tackle Letroy Guion were listed as questionable with toe injuries.

Vikings hope Peterson can carry them to win against Bears
