Holiday assistance program looking for donors in Arlington Hts.

The village of Arlington Heights is looking for residents who want to make someone’s holiday season brighter by participating in the Holiday Assistance Program.

Families that are a part of the program consist of needy one-parent households, two-parent households, individuals with disabilities and senior citizens. Recipient families have filled out extensive applications and each family member has a wish list for the holidays. Sponsors may donate anything they choose, as long as the gifts are new and there is something for everyone in the family.

All gifts/donations must be received by Friday, Dec. 14. If you are interested in helping others through this program, please call Health Services at (847) 368-5760 or email cjancek@vah.com.

If you would like to make a cash donation, please make checks payable to Holiday Assistance Program and mail to 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.
