Rochester beats Eastern Illinois 59-56

CHARLESTON, Ill. — Stavros Schizas and Dramell Hogan scored 17 points each and Rochester (Mich.) defeated Eastern Illinois 59-56 on Wednesday afternoon.

Rochester is an NAIA school.

Schizas was 3 of 4 from 3-point range and had four rebounds. Hogan was 6 of 12 from the field and grabbed five rebounds. Drew Maynard posted a double-double, with 15 points and 11 rebounds.

Rochester led 29-25 at halftime.

Rochester shot 44 percent from the field for the game, while the Panthers shot just 37 percent.

Sherman Blanford had 11 points and nine rebounds for the Panthers (2-4). Morris Woods also had 11 points. Josh Piper added 10.
