This annual event will take place Thursday, Nov. 22, and will culminate at the Harkness Family Center, 60 S. Fourth St.

Starting at 6:30 a.m., there will be a choice of two different hikes. Hiking on park district paved paths (tentative with construction) along the Fox River, hikers may start from McCullough Park or take a 3.1-mile circular hike starting and ending at the Harkness Family Center. A map of both routes is available at church's office.

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., which includes pancakes, sausages, cereal, fruit and beverages. After breakfast, there is a time of thanksgiving in song and a brief devotional message. Breakfast tickets are $3 for adults; $1 for children ages 10 and younger.

Advance ticket purchases are encouraged. Hike walk-ins are always welcome. For details, call (630) 844-0050.

Last year, more than 150 individuals were served Thanksgiving breakfast.
