Lake County Board officials are considering a plan that would expand paratransit services in Antioch, Avon, Fremont, Grant, Lake Villa and Wauconda townships. The effort would be a demonstration project with the Regional Transportation Authority that would be partially funded with federal grants. A similar grant from 2008 expires at the end of the year. The county board will vote on aspects of the proposal when it meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the county government center in downtown Waukegan.
