Petraeus resignation all about politics?
Why did Gen. David Petraeus have to resign over an affair with a beautiful woman? If former President Bill Clinton can have an affair in the White House, why can’t the rest of us? Doesn’t an affair enhance your resume?
Is it that Democrats can have all the fun, while the Republicans get punished for the same escapades? Or is this deeper? The investigation of Petraeus began early in the summer, but we didn’t want that to interfere with the re-election of President Obama. Now, Petraeus will not testify regarding the Benghazi scandal — coincidence or politics? It doesn’t matter with this president, he can now do whatever he wants, and it will always be justified by the press.
