The Vernon Hills Park District's Sullivan and Laschen Community Centers are drop-off sites for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. New, unwrapped toys suitable for children, newborn through 16 years old, can be dropped off in the designated Toys for Tots collection boxes in the community centers. The last day to drop-off toys is Dec. 12. The toys will be distributed to needy children in the community. The Laschen center is at 294 Evergreen Drive and the Sullivan center is at 635 N.
