Liquor licenses for two Libertyville businesses were suspended earlier this week, according to the village.
Mayor and Liquor Control Commissioner Terry Weppler said Tommy’s Pizza and Sports Pub, 137 Lake St., received a three-day suspension, to take place on Dec. 5, 6, and 7 for an allegation of selling liquor to minor on Oct. 6. Tommy’s also was fined $1,000.
Rancho Grande restaurant, 513 E. Park Ave., received a two-day suspension, which was stayed for 120 days, will close no later than 9 p.m. and pay a $1,000 fine. No reason for the suspension was given. The restaurant no longer may serve alcohol until all servers are certified, according to the village.
