An 80th anniversary reunion of Algonquin Mother's Club will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Algonquin Area Public Library, 2600 Harnish Drive, Algonquin.

Algonquin Mother's Club was formed in February of 1932 by a small group of Algonquin mothers for the purpose of becoming better informed on the growth and development of children.

Articles from parenting magazines were used for discussion purposes. Through the years, the topics at the meetings gradually changed to include educational speakers presenting programs on a wide range of subjects pertaining to children, families, the community, and education. The group met continuously until several years ago.

All former members are invited to attend. For information, call (224) 858-4188 or (847) 854-2959.
