Residents want to support park district
We take no great pleasure in having the Arlington Heights Park District referendum defeated. Most of us would have gladly supported the referendum if they had just removed the additional facilities that they could not support by any demonstrated need.
Taxpayers in Arlington Heights want to support our outstanding park district, but with huge property tax increases in recent years we believe that the park district should be more careful with our money.
