The 323 American flags at Route 47 near Oak Creek Highway in Huntley, represent all of the Illinois soldiers who have been killed since Sept. 11, 2001. The display was put on in conjunction with the True Patriots Care Foundation, which is based in Carpentersville, Culver's restaurant and Drendel's Corner, both in Huntley.
