Republican state Sen. Matt Murphy has earned another term in the Illinois General Assembly, easily defeating Democratic challenger David Page in Tuesday's election, according to unofficial results. "I'm very grateful to the people of this area who have given me a chance to serve and represent them in the senate for a few more years," Murphy said.
