Town meeting on Vernon Hills YMCA
The Vernon Hills Park District will host a town-hall meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 6 at the Central Lake YMCA, 700 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The park district board, Executive Director Jeff Fougerousse and staff will be present to answer questions from the YMCA members and residents. The facility was to have closed Oct. 31 but the park district and village last week reached a tentative agreement to purchase the building and land. It eventually will be operated as a park district facility. Call (847) 996-6930.
