Waukegan Turkey Trot this Saturday
Join the Waukegan Park District on Saturday, Nov. 10 at Belvidere Park for the annual Turkey Trot. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with foot races to start at 10 a.m. Donate two cans of food to register for the event. All food collected will be donated to a local food bank. Races will be held for the following age groups ranging from 7 months to 60 and older. Race lengths range from 5 yards to 1 mile depending on age group. First place finishers in each age group will receive a turkey and first place ribbon. All participants will receive a participation ribbon. Only Waukegan Park District residents are eligible to win turkeys as race prizes. Everyone attending the event is eligible to enter into a drawing to win a free turkey.
