Suspicious package in Huntley investigated
Authorities Saturday evening were investigating a suspicious package in the parking lot at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road.
Huntley police sent out an alert about 6:40 p.m. telling people to avoid the area for the next several hours. The alert said police in conjunction with the Kane County Explosives Unit was investigating and that school activities had been canceled for the evening.
Details were not immediately available.
