The Lake County Discovery Museum will host its annual fundraising event from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at its future home. Champagne, chocolates and unique gifts will be featured at the soon-to-be future home of the museum, at 1899 West Winchester Road, between Butterfield Road and Route 45, in Libertyville. Tickets are $12 per person in advance or $15 at the door. Attendees must be 18 years or older. All proceeds benefit the Friends of the Lake County Discovery Museum, whose mission is to provide support for the museum's exhibitions and programs.
