Remember there are 3rd party candidates

text size: AAA

I was surprised when I was reading the official notice of sample ballots in the Daily Herald that there were not two but four teams running for U.S. president/vice president in this election. My goodness! That certainly is not information that one could have gleaned by reading our local newspaper the past several months.

I realize that a two-party system is seemingly embedded when it comes to media attention, but I am quite fed up with that mentality. May I suggest that readers who wish a diversion to the status quo check out the website GaryJohnson 2012. Don't be put off by the word Libertarian — just read what is there. Be part of an informed populace — read and think for yourselves.
