Judge Daniel Shanes represents exactly what we all want and deserve from our local Lake County judges.

I know Judge Shanes to be both an active member of our community as well as an experienced and respected judge. I wholeheartedly support Judge Shanes in the upcoming election to keep him a Lake County Circuit Court Judge. Community member Dan Shanes is firmly grounded in Lake County.

Dan was raised here and lives with his wife of 20 years and their family. He serves on the Board of Directors of Lake County Haven, a transitional home and counseling center for women and children. He coaches youth sports and regularly partners with our schools to offer his unique judicial perspective on the terrible mistakes he sees young adults making with drugs and alcohol, working with them to inspire healthy choices and life decisions.

Judge Daniel Shanes is no less remarkable. Judge Shanes' hard work and commitment to justice have been recognized through numerous awards and distinctions. He is fair and respectful of all those who appear before him. In fact, when Lake County attorneys were surveyed in an anonymous poll administered by the Lake County Bar Association, over 95% recommended Judge Shanes continue serving as a judge. Over 95%! That's a vote of confidence we can all take to the polls. Help make sure we have only the best qualified candidates elected as judges. Vote for Judge Daniel Shanes on Nov. 6.
