Bush tax cuts promoted inequality

text size: AAA

Mr. Romney's economic adviser, Glenn Hubbard, was also on George W. Bush's Council of Economic Advisers and the architect of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts. Your own wealth and income may influence whether you think these cuts benefited you and were good for the our nation, but there is no denying their effect has been to widen the gap between the rich and poor with income inequality greater than any time in our history. If you think more tax cuts for the wealthy would be good for all in our country, think harder.
