Will never vote Republican again

First of all, I am an independent who will never vote Republican again because they are the party that gave us George W. Bush — the worst President ever.

In any case, what has Obama done to deserve re-election?

The economy seems to be getting better. Jobs are moderately on the rise and housing is recovering.

The stock market is doing better — I am retired so this is important.

He seems to have a more balanced approach to the crisis between the Arabs and Israelis in the Middle East.

He is scaling back the American involvement in Afghanistan and our involvement Iraq is almost over.

He handled the Bin Laden situation. Killing another human being is never a good thing but is sometimes necessary.

I know his critics are worried about the deficit and Obamacare, and these are real concerns, but the Republicans should be more open to compromise instead of just negative criticism, which does the country no good.
