Strong leadership is what we need

I believe that “Our View” endorsing Gov. Mitt Romney for president was well thought out and well written. I liked your mentioning that both President Obama and Gov. Romney are good and decent men. I agree with that statement, but having said that, I think leadership and a workable plan to fix our country’s problems in all areas are more important attributes to look for in a man who will lead our country for the coming years.

We are fortunate that we live in a country where we can agree or disagree, remain friends with persons we may disagree with, speak freely and vote for our choices in political candidates. I always like hearing both sides speak their minds. I also pray that the persons I vote for will do their best for all Americans. In the end, I think it is important to respect and support whoever is our next president, whether or not he is the one I voted for.
